Operator and maintenance courses
The purpose of the training course is to give the operators:
- A general understanding of the unique features and functions of Ocean Modules 360-degree concept.
- A presentation of the system as a whole and each subsystem and its function
- Knowledge of how to set up the system, connect it together, start it up, shut it down, and disassemble it.
- Knowledge on system functions, how to activate and deactivate them.
- Knowledge of system dry test.
- Video overlay settings and options.
- ROV Analyser.
- Basic daily maintenance.
The training does not cover:
- Piloting skills and how to pilot the ROV in offshore conditions.
- Technical training for repair and maintenance of the system.
- Offshore launch and recovery of the ROV.
- Mission planning and supervision.
The purpose of the training course is to give the operators:
- Technical training for repair and maintenance of the system.
- Fault searching:
- Information about needed tools and spare parts.
- Connector and cable handling, grease, and cleaning.
- Fiber connectors, handling, cleaning, and measuring.
- Thruster replacement.
- Strapping cables.
- Open and close Electronics Vessel incl. checks.
- What to do if isolation warning is indicated.
- Measuring voltages (Connector pinouts).
- Diagnosis of the System.
- Vehicle status check.
- Power fault searching.
- Communication fault searching.
- Thruster fault searching.
- ROV control fault searching.
The purpose of the training course is to give the operators:
- Hands on thruster service training.
- Some theoretical knowledge that is needed to understand the functionality of the thruster.
- Information about spare parts and the tools needed.
